In addition to CD it has three digital inputs to allow external digital audio sources such as TV, DAB tuners, computer – 1x coaxial, 1x optical and 1x asynchronous USB – with connections using a top-quality oversampling 24-bit, 192 kHz upsampling digital-to-analogue converter (DAC). The upsampling action moves the digital artefacts to well outside the audio band, allowing easy removal without detriment to the top end of the audio band. The technical performance is excellent; very low distortion, extremely low jitter, excellent signal-to-noise ratio, extremely flat frequency response, exemplary linearity and excellent channel separation. All this allows astounding imaging, detail and transparency, to deliver all music types exactly as the artist originally intended.
