The horse’s legs are covered generously and evenly, and because Aktiv Equine Cooling Clay does not blister the legs, the treated area can be wrapped in plastic and bandaged overnight. Poulticing should be routine after horse’s have worked heavily and should also be done if the horse has an inflamed ligament or muscle.
