Description Equipped with VenTECH technology, the Professional Choice Slide-Tec Skid boots extend to the bottom of the horse’s lower hind limb in order to cover the pastern and bulb of the horse’s heel. This prevents sand and dirt from penetrating the boot and causing burns during sliding stops or tight turns. The boots are manufactured from ventilated neoprene which conforms to the contours of your horse’s limbs. It allows heat and moisture to escape – keeping your horse cool, comfortable and performing at its best at all times. The neoprene is strong but flexible, ensuring maximum protection of the fetlock and surrounding area. A padded leather patch is added on the inside of the fetlock and cannon bone area to ensure the horse’s leg is protected from interference of the opposite limb. The recessed threads on the boot’s skid cup are designed to be durable and will not be cut when sliding. The hook and loop fasteners are designed with rounded ends, making them easier to grip and fasten correctly, allowing you to create the perfect fit for almost any horse. Sold in pairs.
