The short designed has three velcro closure straps, and the protection area over the leg is shorter. This prevents sand and dirt from penetrating the boot and causing burns during sliding stops or tight turns. The boots are manufactured from ventilated neoprene which conforms to the contours of your horse’s limbs. It allows heat and moisture to escape – keeping your horse cool, comfortable and performing at its best at all times. The neoprene is strong but flexible, ensuring maximum protection of the fetlock and surrounding area. A padded leather patch is added on the inside of the fetlock and cannon bone area to ensure the horse’s leg is protected from interference of the opposite limb. The recessed threads on the boot’s skid cup are designed to be durable and will not be cut when sliding.
