Description Diomec Plus paste is a nutritional aid which assists in normalising the digestive system in horses suffering with diarrhoea. Dosage: Administer twice daily into your animal’s mouth for three days, or as directed by the prescribing veterinarian. Dogs and cats less than 5kg : 2ml. Dogs and cats 5 – 15kg : 3ml. Dogs 15 – 30kg : 5ml. Dogs weighing more than 30kg : 7ml. Always ensure fresh water is available. Composition: Per 1 ml Diosmectite 400mg Mannan Oligosaccharides (MOS) 200mg Dextrose 250mg Diomec contains Diosmectite, which binds bacteria, toxins and water in the gut which aids in solidifying the faeces. Also contains L-glutamine and electrolytes (potassium, sodium and magnesium chloride). Mannan Oligosaccharides (MOS) is a prebiotic and has been shown, in clinical trials, to reduce faecal E.coli levels. It also improves gut immunity. L-glutamine is a source of nutrition for rapidly dividing enterocytes and aids in recovery. Sizes: 15ml.
