Connecticut Electric designed this Manual Transfer Switch to allow the user to manually transfer from utility to backup power in the event of a blackout. It includes a double-throw rocker switch to prevent dangerous back-feeding into the electric grid. Use the G2 EmerGen Manual Transfer Switch or Transfer Switch Kit to connect your home’s main circuit breaker to your generator for safe and dependable emergency power. These switches comply with UL safety guidelines and are ETL-certified. The 50A configuration is rated for a maximum of 12500 watts, and the 30A variation is designed for applications that do not exceed 7500 watts.
