Description All of these mandolin straps are made on the Pine Ridge reservation, South Dakota USA. Each Lakota braided strap uses Elk hide exclusively and are hand braided by a member of the Lakota Sioux Nation. Lakota uses Elk hide because it is softer and stronger than any other leather.
