Description This valve access chamber is constructed from polypropylene and is designed to be installed in roadways and on sidewalks, allowing easy access to ball valves, tapping valves, gate valves etc. It’s small, stable footprint makes it easy to install in congested trenches and requires minimal excavation. The large surface area on the base plate allows more backfill material around the base during installation which gives more stability to aid height adjustment. The round surface box has a removable square flange which makes correct back filling easy. The surface box flange can also be rotated through 360° and the surface box has up to 8° of tilt, making alignment with paving materials and gradients simple. It has been manufactured to withstand working 16bar nominal pressure. We recommend that this chamber is used in conjunction with our valve extension handles for maximum versatility, however they do have many other uses.
