Description AVR10 The Arcam AVR10 is an entry-level premium quality multi-channel audio video receiver. Featuring the efficient class AB amplification for a level of transparency that delivers the most captivating sound, AVR10 ensures audiophile listening experiences are optimised with full 12-channel Dirac calibration on board as well as simple streaming with a mobile device using the native app of choice via Apple Airplay2 or Google Chromecast. In a class-AB amplifier, the conduction angle is intermediate between class A and B. Each one of the two active elements conducts more than half of the time. Class AB is widely considered a really good compromise for amplifiers, since much of the time the music signal is quiet enough that the signal stays in the class-A region, where it is amplified with good fidelity. If & when is passes out of this region, the signal is then large enough that the distortion typical of class B are relatively small. The crossover distortion can be reduced further by using negative feedback.
